Indianapolis' new professional soccer team has inked a television deal for its inaugural season. Indy Eleven Professional Soccer says MyINDY-TV in Indianapolis will broadcast all home and some road games.

December 12, 2013

News Release

Indianapolis, Ind. — Indy Eleven Professional Soccer today added three locally-based organizations – MyINDY-TV/WISH-TV, WISH for OUR HEROES and HardingPoorman – into the North American Soccer League club's growing stable of Corporate and Community Partners. Indy Eleven welcomed representatives from all three groups into the team's family of partners alongside the four newest members of its roster during this evening's “Indiana Day” Celebration at the Indianapolis City Market, marking the club's final official event of its groundbreaking 2013 calendar.

Soccer fans across Central Indiana will be able to catch more than half of Indy Eleven's regular season matches in 2014 over the local airwaves thanks to an agreement with MyINDY-TV 23. As part of the partnership, WISH-TV's sister station, MyINDY-TV, will broadcast every Indy Eleven home game from IUPUI's Michael A. Carroll Stadium over-the-air in addition to select away contests. A detailed TV broadcast schedule will be unveiled following the release of the 2014 NASL schedule in the coming weeks.

“We are very excited to bring this level of professional soccer into Central Indiana homes,” said Jeff White, president and general manager of MyINDY-TV and WISH-TV. “We look forward to providing viewers a front row seat to all Indy Eleven home games and select away games, during their inaugural 2014 season. MyINDY-TV and WISH-TV have a tradition and the experience in producing some of our communities' elite events such as Butler Basketball, the 500 Festival Mini Marathon and Parade and the annual Circle City Classic Parade. This Indy Eleven partnership continues our commitment to producing the highest caliber local sports and event programming for our viewers. We look forward to a successful season together.”

“From the very start, WISH-TV has shown tremendous interest not only in airing Indy Eleven matches, but also in helping us expand our outreach throughout Central Indiana,” said Larry Linde, Indy Eleven's Director of Corporate Partnerships & Broadcasting. “Their commitment to broadcast our entire home schedule on MyINDY-TV enhances the value of our corporate partnerships and serves as a two-hour commercial showcasing the excitement and energy of Indy Eleven soccer.”

While their primary goal is to grant families basic needs or emergencies first – anything from putting food on the table to assisting with car repairs, home repairs, baby supplies, clothing, etc. – WISH for OUR HEROES also enjoys providing fun experiences like sending the troops and their families to athletic events and vacations to get re-acquainted after deployments, the chance to meet their favorite celebrities and more.

“We are honored to form a partnership with Indy Eleven as we work together to identify new ways to assist our Hoosier military families,” said Erich Orrick, Vice President of WISH for OUR HEROES. “From day one, Indy Eleven has demonstrated a high level of commitment to our community, and we're truly honored to be part of it.”

As part of the new partnership, Indy Eleven and WISH for OUR HEROES will create a program to supply tickets for military families to enjoy Indy Eleven games, while WISH for OUR HEROES will be integrated into the gameday experience via activation in the team's planned interactive fan zone at Carroll Stadium. To assist with a $10 donation, text “AMERICA” to 20222; for more information on this national 501(c)(3) charitable organization, visit www.wish4ourheroes.org.

“Indy Eleven could not be prouder to work closely with another military partner in Wish for Our Heroes to ensure that deserving families from across the Hoosier State will be able to enjoy fun and rewarding experiences at our games,” Indy Eleven Director of Community Relations Guy-Jo Gordon said.

Locally owned and operated, HardingPoorman – the “Preferred Printing Partner of Indy Eleven” – is one of North America's leading commercial graphics providers. HardingPoorman consists of several integrated teams of professionals all under one roof and has a broad portfolio of services related to the graphic arts industry. In addition to a commitment to creating quality materials for their partners, HardingPoorman has also shown a commitment to protecting the environment, becoming the first Indiana-based business to purchase 100% green energy to run their operations. “HardingPoorman is honored and excited to be an official club partner of Indy Eleven; expanding our commitment to the local sports community,” said Keith Craig, HardingPoorman Executive Vice President of Sales. “The anticipation and excitement from the fans around the inaugural season has been amazing. We look forward to a long lasting relationship with the Indy Eleven team.”

“We're thrilled to add HardingPoorman to our expanding lineup of outstanding corporate partners. Their considerable experience supporting the sports industry in Indiana is rivaled only by their commitment to our community,” said Linde.
