CRANE, Ind. – The WestGate@Crane Child Development Center welcomes the public to join with state and local dignitaries at its ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, December 11 at 2:00pm at its facility on SGM Gene Shaw Technology Drive, formerly known as WestGate Court.
The WestGate@Crane Child Development Center provides much more than child care. With a staff of up to 20 led by Director Jennifer Barnes, the state-of-the-art facility focuses on a holistic approach to early childhood development. Located within the WestGate@Crane Technology Park, the school boasts eight bright, unique classrooms custom-designed to the individual needs of children from infancy to five years of age. The WestGate@Crane Child Development Center is a safe and nurturing environment focusing on age-appropriate social, physical, cognitive and language skills. The staff and teachers use creative, hands-on teaching methods to engage and expand the learning process.
As part of the burgeoning WestGate@Crane Technology Park, the WestGate@Crane Child Development Center allows parents of young children to remain close to them throughout the workday. The WestGate@Crane Child Development Center is convenient to employees of NSA Crane, WestGate, area residents, and commuters within the area.
The WestGate@Crane Child Development Center will be open to the public for an extended open house, where parents are invited to visit the facility, meet the staff and register their children. The first 30 families that register will receive free registration.

Space at the WestGate@Crane Child Development Center is limited to 126 children, so early registration is strongly encouraged. To register your child or for more information, please visit our website at www.westgateatcranechildcenter.com, or call the center at (812) 863-6013.
The WestGate@Crane Child Development Center opens officially in early January, 2014. The facility hours will be Monday through Friday, 5:30am – 5:30pm.
