Old City Hall to Receive Facelift
Renovations to the old city hall in Indianapolis are set to get underway Friday morning. The century-old building has been vacant for more than five years. It will be the temporary location of a Department of Metropolitan Development urban planning hub during construction. December 5, 2013

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Renovation to Indianapolis' Old City Hall will begin Friday, December 6. Contractors will begin by reopening windows on the north side of the building that have been covered in brick for decades.
Michael Bricker, co-founder of People for Urban Progress (PUP), will discuss plans to reuse the building's original materials for the interior renovation. During the renovation, the building will house a temporary Department of Metropolitan Development urban planning hub.
