Turkey Processing Plant to Mark Opening
An Indiana food company is set to cut the ribbon Monday on a Vincennes operation. Huntingburg-based Farbest Foods Inc. says the turkey processing plant in Knox County will employ about 300, with the potential for “significantly more” if it adds a second shift.

WHY:
A celebration of the opening of the new Farbest Foods turkey processing plant in
the Vincennes Industrial Park and JFS Milling in Bruceville, IN.
With the first full shift, the new 227,000 sq-foot plant will employ 300 people with the potential of adding significantly more if production expands to add a second shift.
At full production, JFS Milling will employ 30.
