Multiple Indiana professionals are on a national agriculture publication company's “40 Under 40” list. This year's class from Vance Publishing Corp. includes representatives from Purdue University, Indianapolis-based Dow AgroSciences and Elanco Animal Health in Hancock County. The list includes:

Joe Kelsay, former Indiana Director of Agriculture and senior manager for Indianapolis-based Dow AgroSciences LLC

Dwain Rule, biology team leader at Dow AgroSciences

Haley Oliver, an assistant professor of food science at Purdue University's College of Agriculture

Matt Ritter, an advisor with Elanco Animal Health in Hancock County

Vance Publishing says the list recognizes professionals with a passion for agriculture, “clear expertise” into at least one aspect of the food system and a notable record of achievement.
