News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The IUPUI Athletics Department and Office of Alumni Relations have announced the three member Hall of Fame Class of 2014. The 2014 class will be comprised of Jay Bradley (meritorious), George Hill (men's basketball) and Brandy Moser-Salisbury (softball).

All three will officially be inducted at the IUPUI Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet on Friday, Jan. 31 at the JW Marriott Hotel (10 S. West St.) in downtown Indianapolis.

Bradley was IUPUI's Head Athletic Trainer from 1980-99 and then Associate Head Athletics Trainer from 1999-2007. During his 27-year tenure with the program, he also served as Co-Head Athletic Trainer for the 1987 Pan Am Games and 1988 Olympic Track & Field Trials at Carroll Stadium. He was the host Athletic Trainer for the 1984 NAIA Swimming & Diving National Tournaments, as well as the 1983 Softball Tournament. The 1993 Indiana Athletic Trainer of the Year, Bradley is also a member of the Indiana Athletic Trainer's Association Hall of Fame (inducted in 2000), Pike High School Hall of Fame (inducted in 2009) and Cardinal Ring of Honor (inducted in 2003).

Bradley also chaired IUPUI's drug and alcohol testing program from 1996-2005 and served thousands of athletes over his career.

Hill (2004-2008) remains IUPUI's only-ever NBA draft pick, having been selected in the First Round (26th overall) of the 2008 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. The 6-foot-2 guard is now the starting point guard for the hometown Indiana Pacers. While at IUPUI, Hill was the 2008 Summit League Player of the Year and closed his career with 1,619 points (17.0 ppg), 547 rebounds, 317 assists and 155 steals in 95 career games. He was a two-time, First Team All-Summit League selection and earned Honorable Mention AP All-America honors following his junior year.

During his career, IUPUI went 61-30 (.670) in his three full seasons, including a school-record 26 wins during the 2007-08 campaign. IUPUI won 74 percent of its conference games during his three years, including a 15-3 mark in 2008. Hill becomes the 16th former men's basketball player to earn induction into the IUPUI Hall of Fame.

Moser-Salisbury (2000-2003) was a four-time All-Conference performer and was the league's Newcomer of the Year as a freshman in 2000. She was named First Team All-Conference three times during her career and was a Second Team All-Mideast Region selection in 2002. She finished her career as the program's Division I leader in batting average (.343), runs (90), hits (222), doubles (52), total bases (310) and slugging percentage (.478). She batted .385 as a senior in 2003, while her 18 doubles that season are tied for the tenth most in league history. Her 52 career doubles place her fourth on the league's all-time list and her 58 career stolen bases are 15th in league history.

She earned her degree in German in 2003 and she becomes the 11th individual to be inducted into the IUPUI Hall of Fame from the softball program. However, she is the first IUPUI Softball inductee in the program's Division I era and the first since Wendy Castor was inducted in 2009.
