A commercial real estate veteran has been named senior vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle's (NYSE: JLL) new Midwest Healthcare Brokerage team. Bruce Gordon will be based in the firm's Indianapolis office. The Purdue University graduate has spent the past seven years as vice president of leasing Duke Realty's Midwest Healthcare division. INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 11, 2013-As part of an ongoing, firm-wide initiative to increase opportunities and market share in the healthcare real estate arena, Bruce Gordon has joined Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE:JLL), as Senior Vice President of its newly created Midwest Healthcare Brokerage team.

The announcement was made by Dan Ryan, Central Region Markets Director, Jones Lang LaSalle.

“We believe that the healthcare and life sciences vertical markets represent areas of tremendous opportunity within the Midwest region of Jones Lang LaSalle,” Ryan said. “Being able to hire a professional with the credentials and reputation of Bruce Gordon immediately solidifies this initiative and adds further credibility to the Jones Lang LaSalle brand.”

Gordon brings twenty four years of commercial real estate experience to his position at Jones Lang LaSalle. Twenty of those years were focused on healthcare transactions and for the past seven years, Gordon was Vice President of Leasing for Duke Realty's Midwest Healthcare division.

There he was responsible for leasing a regional portfolio of more than 2.5 million square feet.

Gordon has worked with a variety of hospital and physician groups including the largest healthcare employer in Indiana, St.

Vincent Health, Inc. Over the course of his career, which began in 1989, he has been involved in the completion of more than 300 healthcare real estate transactions.

Bruce will be based in Jones Lang LaSalle's Indianapolis office, but will be actively involved in increasing the firm's healthcare business in its offices in Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis and Milwaukee.

Gordon is a graduate of Purdue University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue's Krannert School of Industrial Management.
