The newest professional sports franchise in the state is planning to announce more corporate sponsorships during an event this evening in Indianapolis. Indy Eleven has also reached its target of 7,000 season ticket deposits and has established the first season ticket waiting list for a North American Soccer League team November 11, 2013

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS (Saturday, November 9, 2013) – Indy Eleven Professional Soccer marked another chapter in club history today by reaching its stated target for 2014 season ticket deposits at 7,000 – but the North American Soccer League expansion club announced it is not stopping there. Indy Eleven will continue its momentum towards next April’s NASL debut with today’s introduction of a Season Ticket Waiting List, allowing more fans the opportunity to save their spot in line for full ticket packages via a $25-per-seat deposit.

“The commitment shown by Indy Eleven fans to help our club grow has been inspiring for everyone associated with the team,” said Indy Eleven Owner Ersal Ozdemir. “This early response sends the strongest signal yet that professional soccer will thrive here in Indiana.”

“We launched back in January with modest ticketing goals, and adjusting our plans to keep up with our fans’ response has been the best possible challenge for our staff,” explained Peter Wilt, Indy Eleven President and General Manager. “To continue meeting that demand we are rolling out the first Season Ticket Waiting List for an NASL team, allowing more opportunities for fans that hope to enjoy every game next year to do so in the five months leading up to kickoff.”

Indy Eleven expects a number of additional season ticket spots to open up ahead of opening day next April. Fans will be able to secure a priority spot on the Season Ticket Waiting List with the $25-per-seat deposit, and, when assigned season tickets, 100% of the deposit will be applied as a credit towards the total purchase price for the 2014 season. Benefits for fans with Season Ticket Waiting List accounts will include:

• Access to pre-sale windows for special matches, including exhibitions and U.S. Open Cup

• Access to a pre-sale window for individual game tickets

• Invites to select special events for season ticket and waiting list members

• Ability to purchase exclusive BYB Gold Membership package ($35)

• Deposit can be put towards individual/group tickets without losing priority number if 2014 Season Tickets are not secured

Fans can click here to save their spot on the Indy Eleven Season Ticket Waiting List. For assistance with any questions about the Season Ticket Waiting List, fans can read the team’s FAQ, call the front office at 317-685-1100 to speak with Indy Eleven's Ticket Sales Department or email tickets@indyeleven.com.

To commemorate this latest milestone in the club’s growth, Indy Eleven will host a “Celebrate 7,000” event this Monday, Nov. 11, at the Indiana Historical Society from 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET. During the RSVP-only Veterans Day celebration, which will be open exclusively to season ticket holders, Indy Eleven will introduce new members of the team’s player roster and coaching staff and announce details regarding new community and corporate partnerships. Season ticket holders can click here to RSVP for the event while spots still remain open.

“The support provided by partners such as Indiana Soccer and the Brickyard Battalion his given our fan base a strong foundation to build upon. We look forward to another fantastic night with the ever-expanding Indy Eleven family on Monday evening,” said Wilt.

Media interested in covering the “Celebrate 7,000” event on Monday must RSVP, and can do so by contacting John Koluder, Indy Eleven Director of Public Relations, at john@IndyEleven.com or 317-919-0808 (mobile) by Monday at 2:00 p.m.
