Carmel-based CNO Financial Group Inc. (NYSE: CNO) is again partnering with the Indiana Pacers. The holding company will donate $50 to the Pacers Foundation for every three-point basket the team makes during the season. October 29, 2013

News Release

CARMEL, Ind. – CNO Financial Group and the Indiana Pacers are teaming up during the 2013-2014 basketball season to again raise money to help build better communities in central Indiana. For every three-point shot scored by an Indiana Pacers player at Bankers Life Fieldhouse during the regular season, CNO Financial Group will donate $50 to the Pacers Foundation.

CNO Financial Group is a life and health insurance holding company based in Carmel and the parent company of Bankers Life and Casualty Company. Since 1999, CNO Financial Group has been a proud supporter of the Pacers Foundation and its mission to help Indiana’s youth make winning life choices.

“Whether it's making a financial contribution or volunteering our time, investing in our communities is at the heart of CNO Financial Group's culture,” said Ed Bonach, CEO of CNO. “By partnering with the Pacers, we hope to raise much needed dollars to help the Pacers Foundation fund community programs aimed at furthering their youth-focused mission.”

“The Indiana Pacers and CNO Financial Group share a common commitment to our community, and this annual contribution enables the Pacers Foundation to continue making an impact on our youth,” stated Rick Fuson, Chair of Pacers Foundation, Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of Pacers Sports & Entertainment. “We are most grateful for CNO’s outstanding support and partnership.”

Last season, CNO Financial Group's three-point charity program raised $18,450 for the Pacers Foundation. A check presentation will be held during half time at tonight’s opening game against the Orlando Magic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. To date, CNO Financial Group has donated nearly $210,000 to the Pacers Foundation.
