Oct. 24, 2013 FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Richard A. Poinsatte of Fort Wayne has been named a director for the University of Saint Francis. The vice president and treasurer of Steel Dynamics Inc., he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a certified public accountant.
He has a rich history of nonprofit and corporate board membership, and has served or presently serves for Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic, Questa Foundation for Education, Consumer Credit Counseling of Northeast Indiana, Mayor Tom Henry’s Gateways Initiative Committee, Mayor Graham Richard’s Blue Print Plus Steering Committee, Dr. Bill Lewis Center for Children, Knights of Columbus #451, East State Village Civic Improvement Association, Fort Wayne chapter of Active 20/30 International, Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty Advisory Council and RiverFest Committee. He also serves on the audit committee for the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne and is the administrator for the Steel Dynamics Foundation.

Oct. 24, 2013 FORT WAYNE, Ind.—University of Saint Francis (USF) alumna Natalie Wagoner has been named the university’s new Director of Career Services.
After completing bachelor and master degrees in business administration, she worked in the university’s Admissions Office over five years, as an adult counselor and then as assistant director. She is a three-year communication adjunct professor for the university and also works with coaches in the Athletics Department on eligibility and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics compliance.
“My Office of Admissions experience has given me a very valuable perspective,” she said. “Learning about the university and articulating that uniqueness to prospective students, high schools and community partners creates a strong foundation for success in this new role.”
She is excited about opportunities her office will make available to students, alumni and faculty members, through a new alignment that allows her to redefine its offerings. “With the new alignment of Career Services under Alumni Relations, Career Services has a unique opportunity to redefine our mission and vision,” she said. “We will be tailoring our services to provide exciting opportunities that will allow us to build strong services for students and alumni, and give employers a very well prepared candidate.”
Services will include interview practice, resume counseling, assistance with employment and internship searches, job posting boards, employment fairs, professional development opportunities and on-campus classroom presentations. The office will also develop additional resources that will be available online.
She sees the job as a way to give back to her alma mater. “USF is my family. Working here is my way to give back to a university that has given me so much. I met my husband here, and I am in what I would consider my dream job. I hope my involvement leads students to fulfill their dreams and become as accomplished and happy in their careers as I am in mine,” she said.
