Some Indiana brewing operations were named medal winners at the event over the weekend in Denver. The continued success comes as the state's largest beer and wine supplier reports an increase in demand for craft beer. Monarch Beverage Co. in Indianapolis has created a special division to deal with the rapidly growing segment. Terry attributes the growth to customers demanding a different tates from traditional brews.
He also points out that as of the end of September, Monarch has sold as much Indiana craft beer as all of 2012.
