WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Leaders of organizations in the community and economic development sector can use a resource from a Purdue Research Park affiliate firm to find grant resources for programs in community assistance, health care, education, library services, historical and genealogical societies, and other areas.

Schoolhouse Partners LLC has published the 13th edition of Funding Sources for Community and Economic Development. It can be purchased directly from Schoolhouse Partners or through Barnes & Noble bookstores, EBSCO Information Services, Ingram Books or YBP Library Services. The information also is available on GrantSelect, Schoolhouse Partners' subscription-based online database.

Louis S. Schafer, editorial director, said leaders in community and economic development will find 44 program types in the directory including:

“There are more than 5,000 grant opportunities in the 13th edition of Funding Sources for Community and Economic Development, an increase of more than 400 over the previous edition,” he said. “Grant sponsors include U.S. and foreign foundations, corporations, family trusts, public charities, professional organizations, government agencies and other organizations.”

Each record is listed in three indices: by geography, program type and subject. Records include grant title; description; requirements; award amount; application deadline; contact information including phone, fax, email and Internet address; sponsor name and address; and samples of awarded grants.
