Six Cities Hope for 2018 Super Bowl

Subscribe NowThe National Football League says six cities, including Indianapolis, have applied to host the 2018 Super Bowl. The league is expected to announce the finalists this afternoon and those cities will be asked to formally bid for the game. Miami, New Orleans, Dallas, Minneapolis and Tampa have submitted applications along with Indianapolis.
The final decision on the 2018 site is expected at next year's NFL owners spring meeting.
Indianapolis is facing stiff competition. Minneapolis will have a new stadium by 2018 and that's the year New Orleans will celebrate its 300th birthday.
