The National Football League is expected to announce host city finalists in the competition for the big game. Those cities will be formally asked to submit bids. Local bid committee Vice Chair Dave Lewis discussed the process during a Studio(i) interview in August. Lewis says the effort will likely need to raise around $30 million in corporate support, compared to the $25 million brought in before the 2012 Super Bowl.
Other cities hoping to land the 2018 game include New Orleans, Minneapolis and Tampa Bay.
NFL owners will vote on the host city during a meeting in May.
