News Release

Angola, Ind. — A lifelong Logansport resident and higher education professional is leading Trine University's Logansport Education Center for the School of Professional Studies (SPS).

In late August, Lori Lange, a graduate of Logansport High School and Purdue University-West Lafayette, became the new director of the education center, 2815 E. Market St. Lange earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Purdue and is scheduled to complete a Master of Science in Leadership in spring 2014 from Trine.

“We're excited to have in this leadership role an experienced professional who knows the community so well,” said Mersiha Alic, SPS dean. “Lori's experience in admissions and financial aid has been beneficial to our adult students and Trine.”

Lange is former associate director of admissions at Ivy Tech Community College's Logansport campus and worked in financial aid for several years at Ivy Tech.

“I'm eager to bring more students to the Logansport center and to educate the community about Trine University,” Lange said. “I want Logansport and Cass County residents to realize they can earn a bachelor or master’s degree here in our own community. I also hope to raise awareness of Trine’s programs to area business and industry leaders who wish to offer educational benefits to their employees.”

Lange and her husband, Matt, have four children.
