Enrollment in Indiana's health insurance marketplace opens today. The Affordable Care Act is requiring all businesses to make sure employees have now been notified of their insurance options. The state has set up a website to provide details of the new system. The official launch of coverage through the system is January 1.

Depending on income, many will see a reduction in rate due to federal subsidies.

As a result of new law, the Indiana Department of Insurance says its actuaries have projected a more than 70 average cost increase for individual health insurance in 2014.

Last month, Governor Mike Pence announced the Healthy Indiana Plan will be continued through next year for Medicaid recipients.
