Businesses are facing a key Affordable Care Act deadline. Effective Tuesday, employers of all sizes must provide workers with a notice of health care options. In a Studio(i) interview, Catherine Popp Hoffman, a health care analyst for our partners at WTHR in Indianapolis, says that's not the only change coming next week. Under the new exchange rates set by the federal government, Indiana's lower-cost plans range from about $300 to just over $400.

Earlier this week, Indiana Hospital Association Vice President Brian Tabor said hospitals have dealt with approximately $4 billion in Medicare cuts over the past decade. He says health plans available under the Affordable Care Act could help hospitals make up for some of the money lost through reimbursement reductions.
