Fort Wayne, Ind. — The University of Saint Francis (USF) has elected seven business and community leaders to its Board of Trustees.
Sister M. Jennifer Henry, OSF, is the assistant to the treasurer and human resources manager for the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration in Mishawaka. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in education in 1980 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1990 at University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. She has served on the USF board since 2010.
Fort Wayne resident Jeanne E. Mirro has served on the board since 2003. She earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education at Ball State University in 1971 and a Master of Arts in teaching at DePauw University in 1975. She serves on the board of the Fort Wayne Ballet, and has served on the boards for the Indiana State Museum, the Indiana State Library and the Indiana Arts Commission, which she also chaired from 2009-2011.
Helen J. Murray is retired president and Chief Operating Officer for Indiana Michigan Power Company and retired dean of the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Saint Francis. The Fort Wayne native earned a bachelor’s degree in computer technology at Purdue University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Notre Dame. She serves on the advisory board of Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana and the Foellinger Foundation board.
William G. Niezer has been elected USF Board of Trustees chair. He is managing director of the Fort Wayne operations of Wells Fargo Insurance Services of Indiana, and previously was managing director of Acordia of Indiana, a privately held insurance brokerage. He is a board member for St. Joseph Community Health Foundation. He earned a degree in liberal arts at the University of Notre Dame, and has served on the USF board since 1994.
Patrick Pasterick is an architect with Design Collaborative in Fort Wayne. He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture at Ball State University in 1983. He is a board member for Junior Achievement, past president of the American Institute of Architects in Indiana, a Leadership Fort Wayne participant and member of the Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and the Summit Club. He has served USF on the board since 2003.
Ian M. Rolland is retired chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln National Corp. in Fort Wayne. A USF benefactor, he and his wife, Mimi, provided financial impetus for the Rolland Center for Art and Visual Communication in the university’s School of Creative Arts. A leader of numerous boards and organizations, he has served on the USF board since 1995.
Charles R. Schrimper is retired from Group Dekko, headquartered in Kendallville, Ind., where he served from 1993 to 2007 in a variety of capacities, including chief executive officer and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Group Dekko, he was a partner in the Fort Wayne and Detroit offices of Coopers & Lybrand from 1973 to 1993. He is chairman of Parkview Health and iAB Financial Bank and its parent company, Independent Alliance Banks Inc. He has served on the USF board since 2011.

The University of Saint Francis, founded in 1890 as a comprehensive university in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate programs through the School of Health Sciences, School of Arts and Sciences, Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership, School of Professional Studies and School of Creative Arts. The university’s College of Adult Learning designs focused curriculum for working adults by offering online and accelerated programs, through its Virtual, Fort Wayne and Crown Point campuses.
