News Release

Stamford, Conn. — Cengage Learning, a leading educational content, software and services company for the academic, professional and library markets, today announced a strategic agreement with Ivy Tech Corporate College to expand educational opportunities available online. Under the terms of the agreement, Cengage Learning will provide Ivy Tech with technology, program and marketing support in order to accelerate online non-credit enrollments, and provide opportunities for students to access a broad range of online courses through its online learning division, ed2go.

Ivy Tech, the first partner in ed2go’s new Premiere Partner Program, will gain student access to a robust catalog containing a broad complement of online courses, training programs and instructional services.

Anytime/anywhere access to these solutions and services is critical to the success of the program and Cengage Learning’s full ed2go catalog of online non-credit courses will be available 24/7, remotely for enrolled students.

“On the heels of celebrating their 50th Anniversary Gala, Ivy Tech has a well-established reputation for providing educational opportunities not readily available to many. We are excited to work closely with Ivy Tech Corporate College. As our inaugural partner in this program, students of all ages will now be able to take courses wherever they are and whenever they need, as long as they have online access – whether they are acquiring new skills, acquiring knowledge and training for a new career, or seeking professional development or personal enrichment,” said Ron Stefanski, Chief Business Development Officer, ed2go. “To make this possible, the Premier Partners Program will provide Ivy Tech with a turnkey solution including quality instructors, robust state-of the-art curriculum and courseware, and white glove customer support and staff training, and a scalable enrollment and administrative platform for expanding their enrollments, and enriching the learning experience for students.”

“We look forward to benefiting from Cengage Learning's world class educational assets and the team of instructional designers and technology experts to continue to identify further course and program needs as we move forward in the partnership,” said Dr. Jeff Pittman, Ivy Tech’s Vice President of Corporate College Online Education, Information Technology and Entrepreneurial Outreach. “We plan together to create a catalog of customized courses and e-learning solutions for Ivy Tech's entire student population.”
