Multi-Million Dollar Park Project Begins
Jeffersonville officials have broken ground on a more than $4 million attraction. Big Four Station is a bike and pedestrian-friendly park at the foot of the Big Four Bridge that spans the Ohio River to Louisville. The project is part of a nearly $40 million redevelopment initiative championed by Mayor Mike Moore that includes additional park space and infrastructure upgrades.
Big Four Station is expected to be complete next year and will feature a walking and biking path that runs from the bridge to the center of the park.
It will also include a playground and pavilion area.
