The nomination period is open for the Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center's annual program to honor entrepreneurs. The organization is looking for nominees in 11 categories including Small Business Person of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. September 5, 2013

New Albany, Indiana – September 5, 2013 – The Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is accepting nominations for the 2nd Annual Leadership & Entrepreneurial Awards Day of Southern Indiana, or LEADS Indiana. Nominate a small business owner or growing entrepreneur in your network. Nominations are accepted online. For more information on the event, to nominate or for nomination criteria, visit www.leadsindiana.com or call the ISBDC at 812-952-9765. Deadline for nominations is 9/30/13.

Nominations are open for eleven awards categories: Small Business Person of the Year, Small Business Exporter of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, FranNet Franchise of the Year, Family-Owned Business of the Year, Entrepreneurial Success Award, Financial Services Champion of the Year, Home-Based Business Champion of the Year, Minority Small Business Champion of the Year, Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year, and Women in Business Champion of the Year. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to nominate those they feel best exemplify success and leadership in the small business sector. Winners of the LEADS Indiana awards will be announced at the Awards Luncheon held at Kye’s in Jeffersonville, IN on 11/13/13, featuring keynote speaker Lisa Brooking, owner of True Colors Tanning Salon. The event starts at 11a.m.
