A Terre Haute-based communications company is expanding its Indianapolis footprint. Gibson Teldata Inc. has purchased BluePrint Technologies' Indianapolis service center. Gibson says the deal will increase its number of workers to approximately 40. August 28, 2013

News Release

Terre Haute, IN – Gibson Teldata, Inc. has purchased the Indianapolis service center of BluePrint Technologies. This acquisition significantly increases the size and scope of the company’s Indianapolis operations and strategically complements the three current Gibson Teldata locations in Terre Haute, Indianapolis and Fort Wayne.

Brett Gibson, President of Gibson Teldata, Inc. said, “When we initially engaged in discussions with BluePrint about acquiring the Indianapolis service center, the first priority was to ensure their customers would continue to be supported at an optimum level. As such, we are pleased that BluePrint has entrusted Gibson to provide that high level of quality, support and partnership. Our growth over the past five years has shown that great products and superior service can be a driving force for success.”

Gibson indicated that all employees of BluePrint affected by the acquisition were either provided positions with Gibson Teldata or would assume positions within other BluePrint Central Regional offices. The addition of the new employees’ will increase the Gibson staff to approximately 40 members.

BluePrint Regional CEO George Pacinelli said, “While we very much value our customer relationships in the Indiana marketplace, we determined after several discussions with Gibson, that they were the best fit to provide a comparable level of service and support to our customers. As such by moving forward with the sale of this regional business unit, BluePrint can place greater focus on expanding the regions within our national footprint where we have experienced positive business growth. Both companies have worked closely to ensure a seamless transition that will positively impact the customers, both in the short-term and well into the future.”

Gibson added, “We feel it is extremely important to serve the existing BluePrint Technologies Indianapolis customer base with the same level of excellence and distinction to which they have become accustomed.”

He also assured customers that are under a current warranty or an extended service contract with BluePrint, that Gibson Teldata will be honoring both.
