The recipients are past honorees that have shown significant continued growth. They were celebrated last night along with 33 members of this year's Companies to Watch class. The 2013 Spotlight Winners Are:

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Five Indiana companies were recognized as Companies to Watch Spotlight Award recipients at the sixth annual Companies to Watch ceremony in Indianapolis yesterday.
The accolade, presented by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, the Indiana Small Business Development Center and the Edward Lowe Foundation, recognizes past Companies to Watch honorees that have demonstrated continued growth, success and commitment to Indiana since receiving their Companies to Watch award.
Companies honored were New Albany-based boice.net, a security, data center, networking infrastructure and wireless solutions provider, Indianapolis-based hc1.com, a healthcare relationship management provider, Carmel-based Mainstreet, a real estate investment company, Fort Wayne-based Prairie Quest, Inc., a professional services firm and Sellersburg-based Rivera Consulting Group, an information technology firm.
boice.net, a 2012 Companies to Watch recipient, has added 22 full-time employees since 2012 and has seen a 20 percent revenue increase. In the fall of 2012, the company was named a Cisco Gold Partner, which is the highest level of certification that a Cisco Value-Added Reseller can receive.
hc1.com, a 2011 Companies to Watch recipient, recently changed its name from Bostech Corporation due to the success of hc1, its healthcare relationship management platform. The company has exceeded 500 lab locations, processing 200 million diagnostic tests annually utilizing this platform. As a result, hc1.com's revenue has grown by 71 percent since 2012.
Mainstreet, a 2010 Companies to Watch recipient, has more than doubled its revenues since receiving the award, opening a new property in Westfield, Ind. and making plans to open a third location in Avon, Ind. Mainstreet is also developing several other senior communities in the Indianapolis area.
Prairie Quest, Inc., a 2010 Companies to Watch recipient, has increased its full-time staff by more than 30 people and has seen a revenue increase of 42 percent in the last year. The company has acquired new clients, purchased new equipment and recently opened an office in Dayton, Ohio.
Rivera Consulting Group, a 2011 Companies to Watch recipient, has released a new software architecture and cyber defense product to offer as part of its service offerings, helping the company land contracts with the U.S. Army. The company has hired 45 new employees and has seen a revenue increase of more than 42 percent since 2012.
The sixth annual Spotlight Award winners were honored along with this year's 25 Companies to Watch recipients during a ceremony at The Indiana Roof Ballroom yesterday. Companies recognized as Companies to Watch are privately held businesses incorporated in Indiana, employ six to 150 full-time employees and have between $750,000 to $100 million in annual revenue or capital. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Thirty-three companies from 14 Indiana counties have earned a place in Indiana's sixth annual field of 'Companies to Watch.'
“The entrepreneurial spirit soars in this year's class of 'Companies to Watch,'” said Eric Doden, president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. “With the spark of a great idea, the ingenuity to develop solutions and the determination to achieve greatness, these companies demonstrate what it takes to stand out in the marketplace. Because we offer a low-tax climate with a skilled workforce, companies of all sizes know that they can exercise a competitive advantage in Indiana, a state that works for business.”
The accolade, presented by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, the Indiana Small Business Development Center network and the Edward Lowe Foundation, recognizes the state's privately held businesses that employ six to 150 full-time employees and have between $750,000 to $100 million in annual revenue or capital.
The 33 'Companies to Watch' from 14 Indiana counties were named after evaluating 300 nominations for the awards and represent industries ranging from biotech research and robotic part design to gourmet flavor manufacturing and automotive safety.
The chosen companies project to have combined revenues in excess of $422 million and create more than 345 new jobs this year. The revenue projections represent an increase of more than $218 million or 36 percent from 2012.
With major sponsorship from Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, the 'Companies to Watch' awards program is an initiative developed by the Cassopolis, Mich.-based Edward Lowe Foundation. The foundation licenses similar programs in other states. The program is also sponsored in part by Katz Sapper & Miller, KeyBank, Purdue University and Ivy Tech Community College.
