Indianapolis, Ind. — Rebecca Thompson Boyle has been named executive director of Teach For America-Indianapolis. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s daily regional operations, building community partnerships, and cultivating private, public, and foundation support.
Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, Thompson Boyle joined Teach For America in 2008 as a managing director on the finance team. After leading financial planning and analysis for more than four years, she went on to serve as chief of staff to the senior vice president of regional operations, where she provided critical strategic and operations support to help Teach For America further its work in regional efforts towards educational excellence and equity.
Prior to joining Teach For America, Thompson Boyle was a senior analyst at Goldman Sachs in their Asset Management division. She also worked as a consultant for both Arthur Andersen and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Thompson Boyle earned her Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and her Bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Notre Dame.

Teach For America has partnered with the Indianapolis community since 2008. This year, more than 180 Teach For America corps members will reach more than 11,000 students in local public schools. Another 290 alumni call the Indianapolis area home and continue working from all sectors for educational excellence and equity.
