DSE Truckload, a subsidiary of Ohio-based Bolt Holdings, says it will add 45 jobs by 2017.
DSE Truckload plans to expand and renovate its 11,000-square-foot operations center on the 15-acre campus. State officials say the company will add a second facility that covers 3,000-square-feet and add a training space for the company’s new drivers. DSE Truckload expects the renovations to be finished later this year.
"Indiana’s nationally recognized business climate keeps companies based out-of-state coming back to the Hoosier State. With our central Midwest location, Indiana stands out with more pass-through interstates than any state in the nation. This helps logistics firms like DSE Truckload reach their destinations faster and create more great Hoosier jobs, making Indiana a state that works," Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith said.
"DSE Truckload has been a key asset to the strategic growth of Bolt Holdings. We are committed to our team of Indiana-based drivers and thus providing a key truckload service to clients across the nation. Our expansion will give our drivers a space to feel more like home with laundry facilities, multiple showers and a larger lounge. They are the reason we are successful," DSE Truckload General Manager Mike Mitchell said.
The company could receive up to $315,000 in conditional tax credits from the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
DSE Truckload employs more than 80 people, and has started hiring office associates, mechanics and drivers.
