‘World-Class’ Facility Opens in Vincennes
The signature feature of a $100 million project at the Good Samaritan campus in Vincennes is open. Officials say transportation of patients from current rooms at the hospital to Gibault Memorial Tower will begin next week.
President and Chief Executive Officer Rob McLin says the facility shows Good Samaritan will be on the "forefront of change and a leader in health care." He add the campus is "equipped with a state-of-the-art facility that will house the most advanced technology and skilled professionals."
The tower will house the Cardiology and Clinical Decision, Intensive Care, Medical Surgery and Pediatrics, Joint Replacement and Medical Surgery and Obstetrics and Oncology units.
The project is a collaboration among Good Samaritan, Hunt Construction Group and BSA LifeStructures. BSA and Good Samaritan previously worked together on the design of the Cancer Pavilion.
