Kem Krest Corp. says it has purchased the former THINK Automotive building in Elkhart. The supply chain services provider plans to invest more than $4.3 million in the building, which will serve as a new corporate headquarters and warehouse.

DEC 3, 2012 ELKHART, IN. - Kem Krest Corporation, a provider of Supply Chain Services for the Automotive, Ag/Industrial and Defense Industries, purchased the former THINK building at 3221 Magnum Dr. just a mile away from their existing location on Toledo Rd. This building provides additional office and warehouse space to accommodate current and future growth plans. Kem Krest has almost doubled in size since 2005. This purchase comes months after a 5-year contract extension with Hyundai Motor America.
“We continue to see new opportunities in both Auto and Defense. This new facility gives us the flexibility and capacity for future growth,” says CFO, David Weaver. “This is more than just a building. It represents our home and further solidifies our roots in Elkhart,” says Amish Shah, President of the company.
Kem Krest will invest more than $4.3 million in the new corporate headquarters and warehouse. This will be the 6th building that Kem Krest uses to service their customers in North America. Locations include: Elkhart and Bristol, IN; Las Vegas, NV; Oakville, ON Canada, and Edmonton, AB Canada.
