Zoo Planning Big Upgrades

The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo says it is in the "advanced planning" stages of a $5 million renovation of its Australian Adventures area. The initiative will include a new permanent stingray exhibit.

The habitat encompasses 4.5 acres and currently includes sharks, kangaroos and dingoes.

Details of the project were revealed through a job posting looking for a new Area Manager at the exhibit.

It was first reported by the Journal-Gazette in Fort Wayne.
