Ohio-based Vantiv Inc. (NYSE: VNTV) will permanently close its Evansville operation. In a notice to the state, the payment processor says the remaining 24 employees will be let go around March.
The move is a continuation of a consolidation that began last September. Vantiv announced it was moving the Vanderburgh County call center to Cincinnati.
The company is headquartered in Ohio and has locations in Kentucky, Illinois and Texas.
