Greene County General Hospital is planning a groundbreaking Friday on a $6.5 million expansion project. The new area will include a larger emergency department along with improvements to other sections including the main entrance.

(Linton, Ind.) - Greene County General Hospital will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its addition/renovation project at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12. The public is invited to attend the event.
The construction project will will add approximately 8,500 square feet of space to the facility. The project will primarily expand the emergency department; however, the main entrance, lab, radiology, pharmacy, and physical therapy will also be expanded and/or renovated.
