DWD says Indiana added 3,300 private sector jobs in July.

The state's unemployment rate for August will be released this morning. The July rate was 8.2 percent, up slightly from the previous month and down from 9.2 percent in July 2011. The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says the state's private sector has added jobs for nine consecutive months.
Most neighboring states have already announced their July unemployment rates.
Michigan's rate increased four-tenths of a percentage point to 9.4 percent.
It is also higher in Illinois, up to 9.1 percent from 8.9 percent in July.
Kentucky's unemployment rate is 8.5 percent, up from 8.3 percent in July.
The state of Ohio will reslease its August unemployment rate this morning.
