City Securities Corp. has signed a lease extension to keep its headquarters in downtown Indianapolis. The investment firm says the 12-year deal with Kite Realty Group Trust (NYSE: KRG) will expand the location.

Indianapolis, Ind. - City Securities Corporation announced today the successful lease negotiation with Kite Realty Group to keep the company headquarters in Downtown Indianapolis, Ind.
Their new 12-year lease expands the company footprint inside the 30 South Meridian Street building to 52,000 square feet over two floors.
The City family of businesses will now be the second largest tenant in the building, behind the Indiana Supreme Court. City Securities Corporation will occupy the 6th Floor, and sister-company City Real Estate Advisors, Inc., will occupy the 4th floor. City Securities and City Real Estate Advisors are wholly-owned subsidiaries of City Financial Corporation.
City Securities Corporation’s CEO, Mike Bosway said, “City Securities has maintained a presence in downtown Indianapolis for nearly 90 years. As this great city has grown, so have we. Early on in our search to accommodate additional space, it was clear that we wanted to maintain our corporate presence within the downtown financial district. We’re pleased that our partners at 30 S. Meridian were as committed to us during this process as we were to them.”
Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate Services served as the commercial real estate broker on the initiative. The build-out for additional space and current renovations begins immediately. City Securities and City Real Estate Advisors are partnering with several local firms over the coming months to complete the renovations. Those firms include: Lynn Hynes Design Associates, REI Construction, RJE Business Interiors and Relocation Strategies.
