INDIANAPOLIS, August 31 — WTHR (Channel 13) announced today that the state’s most-watched local business television program, ‘Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick,’ will premiere on the station beginning Sunday, September 9th at 11 a.m. Regarded as one of the state’s preeminent business experts and journalists, Gerry Dick serves as host of the weekly, full-hour show, which is seen on 15 network affiliated and public television stations statewide, including WFYI-TV in Indianapolis.

Gerry has been honored with Ernst and Young’s prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was recognized by the Small Business Administration as its Journalist of the Year. He is a frequent keynote speaker on issues related to Indiana business.

The host and creator of ‘Inside INdiana Business’ television, Gerry also serves as president and managing editor of Grow INdiana Media Ventures, LLC, an Indianapolis-based media company focused on producing and distributing Indiana business news through a multi-media platform. Gerry and Technology Entrepreneur Scott Jones form the ownership team of GIMV.

Gerry is a native Hoosier, born and raised in the Vermillion County community of Clinton. He is a graduate of Indiana State University, which has recognized his professional accomplishments with its Distinguished Alumni Award. His broadcast news background includes 14 years of service at WRTV (ABC, Indianapolis) as a principal reporter and field anchor. He has also served as a business analyst for WISH-TV (CBS, Indianapolis).
