Indianapolis, Ind. -- Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.) and Congressman Todd Young (R-Ind. 9) announced today that more than 20 businesses offering over 500 job openings will be present at the job fair the legislators are hosting in Corydon on Tuesday, August 21. Area job-seekers will have the opportunity to connect with those employers for the job openings.

The job fair is open to the public and will take place from 10:00AM to 1:00PM in the YMCA of Harrison County’s Gymnasium at 198 Jenkins Court NE in Corydon. There is no cost to participate, and no RSVP or appointment is necessary for potential employees. Employers can register through the 9th District Congressional office in Jeffersonville, or online at https://toddyoungforms.house.gov/job-fair-registration.

Area job seekers are advised to come ready to meet with potential employers and should bring multiple copies of their resumes. Career information, training providers and a job search skills workshop will also be available through WorkOne Southern Indiana, as well as admissions counselors from local colleges.
