The Gateway Industrial Park is home to the empty facility.

Really Cool Foods was planning around 1,000 jobs in the area when the company opened the plant in 2008, but never reached that number and closed last November in Wayne County.

Sugar Creek primarily produces bacon products in Ohio, but also has operations in Kansas.
