(July 31, 2012) -- Gilchrist & Soames, a leading provider of cosmetic-grade toiletry collections for luxury hotels around the world, has moved its worldwide headquarters from downtown Indianapolis to nearby Plainfield, Ind., to accommodate its thriving business. With significant growth projected for 2012 and beyond, the company is poised to hire an additional 40 full-time employees within the next six months to keep up with demand.

Gilchrist & Soames’ new Plainfield facility spans 250,000-square-feet, compared to 145,000-square-feet in its original location. The expanded manufacturing and distribution space will allow for increased capacity and operational capabilities and the global headquarters office will enhance collaboration and coordination among employees through a newly designed workspace. During the next six months, the company expects to boost its staff of 116 full-time employees by an additional 40 positions, primarily in manufacturing, sales, marketing and operations.
