FISHERS, Ind. - The Fishers Chamber of Commerce in partnership with INDOT and the Asher Agency will host an informative meeting regarding the renumbering of all I-69 exits planned to begin in 2012.
The project titled ‘MORE MILES. NEW NUMBERS.’ is the longest contiguous new highway construction project anywhere in the United States. When complete, I-69 will span the entire Hoosier state from north to south adding 184 miles to its route in Indiana.
Extending the interstate system means existing mile markers and exit numbers on the northern leg of I-69 must be updated. The meeting will explain what INDOT is doing to minimize the impact to businesses and motorists.
This event is open to the public and will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. in the Fishers Train Station Meeting Room. For additional information contact Carol Doehrman at 317-578-0700 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
