Dana Planning Fort Wayne Investment

A global company is planning to invest in new equipment at its Fort Wayne operation. The Journal Gazette reports Dana Holding Corp., which operates as Dana Axle Products, is seeking tax abatement on a proposed $4.2 million investment. The request is expected to be considered by the city council this month.

The auto supplier currently has more than 380 unionized workers at the Fort Wayne plant.

The new investment could add five employees.

The plan follows an announcement last year that Dana is moving 100 positions from Marion to Fort Wayne.
