Four Indiana residents are on this year's Forbes list of The World's Billionaires. They include two people connected to real estate companies, a football team owner and the co-founder of a medical device company.
The list places Bloomington resident Gayle Cook's net work at $3.4 Billion. She helped her husband Bill create Cook Group Inc. in 1963 and inherited his stake in the global company when he died last year.
Simon Property Group Inc. (NYSE: SPG) Chairman Herb Simon and Merrillville-based White Lodging Services Corp.'s Dean White each have an estimated net work of $1.8 billion.
Forbes says Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay's net worth is $1.4 billion.
