News Release
Zionsville, Ind. – Dax Norton, Executive Director of the Boone County Economic Development Corporation, announced today the release of a new mobile iPhone/iPad app and mobile website for the Town of Zionsville.
A joint project of the Zionsville Redevelopment Commission and Boone County Economic Development Corporation, the new iPhone App and mobile website “Focus On Zionsville” targets business relocation consultants and site planners with economic development information about the Town.
The Zionsville app identifies available land sites and buildings, offers demographic and income data about the town and its residents, and provides information about Zionsville government and schools. The app features a fast-paced, one-minute video driving tour that visually highlights Zionsville’s unique qualities.
“Having good information immediately available in an easy to navigate app and mobile website is valuable to site consultants and puts Zionsville in front of our target audience.” Said Norton, “With its high impact and memorable content, the new Zionsville app provides data they can just pull up on any device and present to a company that is looking for an area to develop.”
“I am very excited,” said Carol Marquiss, project director for the Zionsville Redevelopment Commission. “This is a great tool to market Zionsville, and very few towns have an economic development app like this.”
Cards promoting the Zionsville app have been distributed by the Boone EDC to prospective clients and are available at various business locations throughout Zionsville.
The Zionsville “Focus on Zionsville” app is available free on iTunes. The mobile website is www.focusonzionsville.com
