A pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers and his wife have launched a nonprofit foundation to give back to the Lafayette-West Lafayette community. The Josh Lindblom Foundation will present its first donation this weekend to five high schools. Josh and Aurielle Lindblom were born and raised in West Lafayette.

Tippecanoe County, IN – Josh Lindblom, a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and wife, Aurielle, have created a not for profit foundation to give back to the Lafayette-West Lafayette community.
Josh and Aurielle Lindblom were born and raised in West Lafayette, Indiana. Josh grew up dreaming of becoming a major league baseball player. His dream became reality when he made his major league debut on June 1, 2011. Josh credits the individuals in the Lafayette-West Lafayette community for many of his achievements. The Josh Lindblom Foundation was created to help others achieve their dreams.
All of the funds raised by the Josh Lindblom Foundation will be used to help other charitable organizations, as well as, local families and children in need. The Foundation will present its’ first donation to five local high schools at the Boys’ J&C Hoops Classic on Saturday, December 3, 2011.
The Josh Lindblom Foundation is currently seeking sponsors for its kickoff event, a charity game night to benefit Food Finder’s Backpack Program. The event will be held at the Lafayette Theater, 600 Main Street, on Saturday, January 21, 2012.
