[UPDATED] Pacers Engineer Community Turnaround

InsideINdianaBusiness.com Report

In a Studio(i) Video, The Word Doctors CEO Frank Luntz says his most recent survey shows fans think the team is making good on its pledge to improve the product, both on and off the court.

Two years after a poll showed Indiana Pacers fans "had enough and were not coming back," a nationally-recognized pollster says community attitudes have done an about face. "I've never seen this, ever, in professional sports," says Dr. Frank Luntz, chief executive officer of The Word Doctors and a consultant to a host of professional sports franchises and corporations. Luntz is in Indianapolis today releasing results of his fourth survey of community attitudes about the National Basketball Association team. Two years ago, in the wake of several high profile off-the-court incidents with several players, Luntz says the team's community perception was "awful."
