Some ArcelorMittal Employees Return to Work

InsideINdianaBusiness.com Report

Most ArcelorMittal employees who were laid off at Indiana Harbor East when the company idled production have been called back to work. Features

Production at the bar mill is being idled because of a lack or orders. Many of the items from the operation are used in the automotive industry.

Up to 400 employees are affected, but the union hopes a number of those workers will be utilized by the neighboring Indiana Harbor West facility.
