[UPDATED] Butler Dean: Supports "Pre-Packaged Bankruptcy" For Automakers

InsideINdianaBusiness.com Report

Butler University's College of Business Administration Dean Chuck Williams talked to Inside INdiana Business Host Gerry Dick about the potential impact of an auto industry bailout.

Federal lawmakers continue negotiations this week over a multi-billion dollar bailout package for the Big Three automakers. The most recent proposal calls for at least $15 billion for General Motors Corp. (NYSE: GM), Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) and Chrysler LLC. The Dean of Butler University's College of Business Administration, Chuck Williams, thinks the best chance for any success might be a "pre-packaged bankruptcy" proposal from President-Elect Barack Obama. Williams believes it would bring all involved parties to the table.
