The Saints will practice at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis if they have to leave New Orleans because of Hurricane Gustav.

As Tropical Storm Gustav approaches the Gulf Coast, the National Football League's New Orleans Saints are looking to Indiana. Saints Executive Vice President and General Manager Mickey Loomis says the team plans to evacuate to Indianapolis if the storm hits in the next few days. The team has a plan to fly into Indianapolis and stay for most of the next week as it prepares for its regular season opener.

Statement From New Orelans Saints
"In the event that Hurricane Gustav forces us to evacuate, the team will temporarily relocate to Indianapolis," said Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis. "If an evacuation is called for, we will fly to Indianapolis at that time and stay there for the entire week preparing for the Bucs. We will practice at Lucas Oil Stadium and we will return to New Orleans on Friday."
