Carmel – TGX Medical Systems LLC has announced that it has received a large investment from Mutual Capital Partners, an institutional investment firm based in Cleveland, Ohio.
While financial specifics were not released, TGX Medical Systems Chairman & CEO, Michael Good, categorized the investment as “a financially significant investment.”
“This capital infusion will give us a tremendous boost as we continue growing TGX Medical Systems,” added Good. “As an Indiana-based technology company, we are excited about the opportunities this will afford us in our home state and throughout North America.”
Headquartered in Carmel, TGX Medical Systems creates software that tracks the location and status of surgical instruments in hospitals, surgery centers and healthcare facilities, ensuring effective instrument processing and control of expensive and critical healthcare equipment.
Good said that he expects to more than double the number of employees over the next 12 months.
TGX Medical Systems primary software is Alex Gold. Alex is the first web-based asset management software on the market. The purpose is to provide a baseline for infection control, track instrument usage throughout their lifecycle, and report on employee productivity in a healthcare facility. It ensures proper sterilization methods are being used while maintaining biological records electronically – at the same time providing substantial cost benefits to the facility.

They are sold to small, medium and large-sized hospitals and medical facilities.
