RICHMOND, Va., April 5 -- LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: LFG), a leading provider of real estate transaction services, announces the purchase of the Century Title Services title insurance agency companies, which operate as one of the largest independent title insurance agencies in Indiana, through its Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation subsidiary. The acquired operations will conduct business as LandAmerica Century Title Services.

Headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Century Title Services began its operations with the founding of Three Rivers Title, Inc. in 1978. The family of Century Title Services companies has grown and now includes 36 offices in Central and Northeastern Indiana that provide title insurance agency and closing services throughout the entire state.
