Beer made in Evansville is heading to Washington. Two Tin Man Brewing Co. beers will be among a small group of selections from throughout the country available at a tasting event attended by members of Congress. The Celebration of American Craft Beer gathering is set for later this month in the nation's capital.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Tin Man Brewing Co. located in Evansville, IN has been one of fifteen breweries chosen to have their wares sampled by over 600 Members of Congress and staffers at the Brewers Association annual Celebration of American Craft Beer event being held at the Cafeteria of the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C. on May 15th. The State Capital will be receiving two (the amount allotted) of Tin Man Brewing Company's five flagship session ales- Alloy American IPA and Circuit Bohemian Pilsner.
Tin Man Brewing Company opened their doors on November 23, 2012. The brewery houses a small tasting room, as well as a 20 HL brewhouse, which is only the third brewery in the country to use a mash filter, and the first of its size. They are also the first in the country to use the keg-free bag-n-box draught system.
