Ball State Begins Indiana Bowl Run
Ball State Athletic Director Bill Scholl tells our partners at Network Indiana/WIBC how tonight's game can be a financial boost for the football program.The run for Indiana schools in the post-season college football bowl barrage begins tonight in Florida. Ball State University will take on the University of Central Florida in the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl. The game has total payout of more than $1 million, which is shared among the participating schools and conferences.
Ball State is looking for the first bowl win in school history. The football program is winless in five games.
Purdue University will tangle with Oklahoma State January 1 in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
The big contest is January 7 in Miami.
The University of Notre Dame will take on the University of Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game
