INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Construction is underway on a new Hampton Inn, the first hotel in Anson, Duke Realty's 1,700-acre mixed-use development on the northwest side of Indianapolis just off I-65, and the first, Class A hotel in Boone County. The 56,708-square foot, four-story hotel, which is slated to open in July/August 2013, will feature 92 rooms and expand the amenities available in the Anson community.
Located on a 2.2 acre parcel in the northeast portion of Anson's business district, the Hampton Inn is being developed by Yagnash Patel, an experienced developer, owner and operator who is endorsed by several major hotel franchises and is involved with 60 operational hotels nationwide. The facility in Anson will feature an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, wireless connectivity and free, hot breakfast each day.
"Having first-class overnight accommodations in Anson has always been part of our plan and an amenity that we believe is important in making this a community with a broad range of conveniences," said Charlie Podell, Senior Vice President of Duke Realty's Indiana operations. "Hampton Inn is an excellent brand with a solid reputation and a welcome addition to the Anson community."
"Anson is an ideal location for this new Hampton Inn because of its convenient highway access and the absence of other quality hotels in the area," said Patel. "There is definitely a need for quality lodging along this corridor of I-65 given the ongoing growth of Whitestown and Zionsville and the increased traffic counts between Indianapolis and Chicago. Now area residents and businesses can find comfortable and affordable rooms nearby when they need guest lodging."
Hampton Inn is a Hilton-Worldwide brand hotel that promises a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee and a clean and fresh Hampton bed in every room.
Anson is Duke Realty's 1,700-acre, master-planned development along Interstate 65 in southeast Boone County, Indiana, where people can live, work, shop, and play. The southern portion of Anson just off SR 334 includes a variety of housing options, including apartments, townhouses, and single-family homes, as well as retail service providers, places of worship, schools, emergency medical facilities and physician offices, and parks, green spaces, and other public gathering areas. On the north end of the community, Duke Realty has teamed with Browning Investments to develop AllPoints at Anson, the commercial district of Anson which will provide 7.4 million square feet of commercial business/distribution space. Currently, Amazon.com and Express Scripts have operations in AllPoints at Anson.
